About the Firm

Our experience providing structural engineering services extends through all phases of projects from conceptual planning through construction administration.  We are familiar with the structural standards and submittal requirements of local, state and federal entities like Washoe County School District, Nevada State Public Works Division, University of Nevada-Reno and the Department of Veterans Affairs to name a few.  While we typically serve in a sub-consultant role under Architects on large projects, we can also serve as a prime consultant on structurally relevant projects, or even provide structural plan checking services where needed.  We are sensitive to the timelines required on today’s construction projects and have the means to meet demanding schedules.

CFBR makes a point out of leveraging the most current technologies available for the development of its structural designs. We feel this is an area that differentiates us from other structural engineering firms and allows us to excel in architecturally sensitive projects that need to balance structural integrity, aesthetics and cost in a timely manner. Revit is used to generate all structural drawings and details for the project and our models can be used to provide 3D coordination with the entire project team.
